A New Year Ahead

So here we are on New Year’s Eve again. This time of year is traditionally a time for reflection, planning for the year ahead and making resolutions. I am no different.

This past few weeks, I have had a great time away in Fuerteventura and back home in Blackpool over Christmas. I have had more fun than I have all year, and it is down to putting time aside for myself, not worrying about work and not being too serious.

I have decided to carry this on into the New Year. Don’t get me wrong, I will not give up my work and live in a field. But I will make sure that I am doing the things I want to do. I am going to make things happen.

For too long, I have been “waiting” for situations to be better before I pursue what I really want to do (more on this in another post). Next year I am going to go for it head-on.

Life is too short.
